Why a site about an Army Installation in Germany? Well, I spent 9 years there and it became a second home for me and the place where I had the opportunity to meet and serve with many great Soldiers.

Pinder served as home for American Soldiers from 1945 to 1992. During this time many great outfits and some fine soldiers lived and worked here. Pinder was turned back over to the German government in 1992 and since then, for the most part, has been torn down and is in the process of being rebuilt for civilian enterprise.
